DEVELOPER RESOURCES

Public API references for evidence research and MVP feedback

Plot publishes a small public API for App Store research and submit-only MVP feedback. The board itself, account data, and Thinking Partner remain inside the signed-in product rather than pretending to be an open automation API.

Public research endpoints

Agents and tools can search the public App Store catalog and request recent public reviews without an account or API key.

  • ✓GET /api/app-store-search for app matches
  • ✓GET /api/app-store-reviews for up to 500 recent public reviews
  • ✓Typed request and response schemas in OpenAPI
  • ✓Public data only; source availability can change

Board-linked MVP feedback

A founder creates a Feedback card, then copies its submit-only integration into an MVP. Tester answers return to that exact board without exposing the board or account.

  • ✓POST /api/feedback/submit with a form token
  • ✓Stable pseudonymous respondent IDs
  • ✓CORS-enabled browser submission
  • ✓Rate limited to protect the endpoint

Where is the machine-readable API specification?

The current public specification is available at /openapi.json. It documents the public endpoints and their typed request and response shapes.

Can an agent directly read or modify a user's board?

No. Plot does not expose board data, account data, or board mutation as a public API. The signed-in workspace and its approval flow protect that context.
